The main differences

Does Shopify charge a fee on each order?

Only if you don’t use Shopify Payments. Then Shopify adds 2% on Basic, 1% on Grow and 0.6% on Advanced, on top of what your payment provider charges. DripFunnel takes no fee on any order, whichever provider you use.

How do you design the store?

On Shopify you pick a theme from its theme store and edit it, and the Sidekick assistant can write content such as product descriptions. On DripFunnel you describe your shop and the AI designs the homepage, pages, menus and product pages. You check every change on desktop, tablet and phone before it goes live, and can go back to any earlier version.

How is VAT handled?

On Shopify, UAE VAT is set up by hand. DripFunnel works out VAT at 5% on every plan and includes it in your prices.

How many staff accounts do you get?

Shopify’s Basic plan has no staff accounts. Grow has 5 and Advanced has 15. On DripFunnel, Starter (Free) is for the owner only, then Growth has 2, Growth Pro 5 and Business 15.

DripFunnel has a free plan, and Growth costs AED 37/month billed yearly. Shopify has no free plan, and Basic is $24/month billed yearly. Shopify can also add a fee on orders if you don’t use Shopify Payments; DripFunnel never does.

Can I move my Shopify store to DripFunnel?
