The main differences

How do you design the store?

On Squarespace you start from a design template, or let Blueprint AI create a website starting point from a description, then edit it yourself. On DripFunnel you describe your shop and the AI designs the homepage, pages, menus and product pages, and every later change too. You check each one on desktop, tablet and phone before it goes live, and can undo it.

Does Squarespace charge a fee on orders?

On Basic, Squarespace takes 2% of store sales; Core, Plus and Advanced have no store fee. Automatic tax adds 0.15% per order on Core, 0.10% on Plus and 0.05% on Advanced, up to $0.99. DripFunnel takes no fee on any order, on any plan, and works out sales tax on every plan.

How many people can work on the store?

Squarespace has 2 contributors on Basic and unlimited from Core. DripFunnel has the owner only on Starter (Free), then 2 staff accounts on Growth, 5 on Growth Pro and 15 on Business, plus suppliers on Business.

Which is better for selling abroad?

Squarespace has one store currency, with multi-currency checkout through Squarespace Payments or Stripe, and more languages through Weglot, a third-party service. DripFunnel adds markets from Growth Pro, each with its own currency, language, tax and couriers, and charges duties at checkout on Business.

Is DripFunnel cheaper than Squarespace?

DripFunnel has a free plan, and Growth costs $10/month billed yearly. Squarespace has no free plan; Basic is $19/month billed yearly and takes 2% of store sales, and Core is $29/month billed yearly.

Is there a free trial?

Both have one. Squarespace offers 14 days with no card needed. DripFunnel gives new shops everything in Business for 10 days with no credit card, then you pick a plan or stay on Starter (Free).

Does DripFunnel have as many templates as Squarespace?

DripFunnel has no templates to choose from. The AI designs your store from your description: the homepage, pages, menus, product pages, colours and type. You can change any of it by describing what you want.

Can I move from Squarespace to DripFunnel?

Yes. Export your products as a spreadsheet (CSV) and import it into DripFunnel from the Growth plan, or ask us to build the store for you. Then switch your domain when you’re ready.
