DripFunnel vs WooCommerce
WooCommerce suits shops that want full control: the plugin is free and open source, runs on your own WordPress hosting, and has over 1,000 extensions. DripFunnel suits shops that want a ready, hosted store the AI designs for them, with local payments and GST built in.

The main differences
Is WooCommerce really free?
The plugin is, and WooCommerce takes no share of your sales. But you need hosting, which WooCommerce itself estimates at $25 to $350 a month, and most shops add paid extensions at $29 to $299 a year each. DripFunnel includes hosting and its features in one plan, with a free plan to start on.
Who looks after hosting, updates and security?
With WooCommerce you do, or your developer does: WordPress, the plugin, your theme and every extension need updating. DripFunnel is hosted for you, so there is nothing to install or update.
How do you design the store?
On WooCommerce you choose a WordPress theme and shape it with blocks, extensions or code. On DripFunnel you describe your shop and the AI designs the homepage, pages, menus and product pages. You check every change on desktop, tablet and phone before it goes live, and can undo it.
How is GST handled?
WooCommerce’s automatic tax covers the US, Canada, Australia, the UK and the EU, not India, so GST rates are set up by hand. DripFunnel works out GST on every plan, and its invoices carry the tax detail India needs.
Moving from WooCommerce
WooCommerce can export your products to a spreadsheet (CSV). Import it into DripFunnel from the Growth plan, check your products, then describe your shop so the AI can design the store.
Questions

No. You describe your shop, the AI designs it, and you approve each change. There is no hosting, theme or plugin to install. If you’d rather not do it yourself, we can build the storefront for you.
