Put your brand on the merchant portal

Updated 20 October 2026 · Partner Owners and Admins

Branding decides what your merchants see in their portal and in the emails they get: your product name, colours, font, logos, and your own support and legal pages. Your merchants’ shops aren’t changed by it.

Before you start

  • Owners and Admins can change branding. Everyone else on your team can look, and sees Your role can’t change branding. Owners and Admins can.
  • Branding changes the merchant portal (where your merchants run their shops) and the emails sent to your merchants and their suppliers. It doesn’t change the shops themselves: each merchant designs their own storefront.
  • Nothing reaches merchants until you publish. Until then the page says Unpublished changes. Merchants still see the published version.

Look: name, colours, font and logos

Open Branding in the menu. The Look tab has:

The Look tab
SettingWhat it does
Product name merchants seeThe name of your product, for example “Northstar Shops”. It appears in the portal and as the sender name on emails.
Primary colour and Accent colourType a colour like #0F5E63, or pick one.
Contrast checkChecks White text on primary and Dark text on accent so text stays readable. Both must say Passes before you can publish.
FontNunito, Source Sans 3, Manrope, Lora or DM Sans.
CornersRounded, Soft or Square buttons and boxes.
Sign-in backgroundSand texture, Plain colour or Photo behind the portal’s sign-in page.

Below them, upload your files: Logo, light backgrounds, Logo, dark backgrounds, Mark (your symbol on its own) and Favicon (the small icon in the browser tab). Each is a PNG, WebP or SVG file of at most 512 KB. SVG files can’t contain scripts or links.

The Mobile app group (App icon, Android icon foreground, Splash image) is for a merchant app in your brand. Talk to your partner manager before you use it.

The Words tab holds the addresses your merchants are sent to for help and for the legal terms. Each web address must be a full address starting with https://.

  • Support email and Support URL: where your merchants get help. Replies to your emails go to your support address, and suspended stores show your contact, never DripFunnel’s.
  • Help centre: your own help pages. The portal’s Help link goes there.
  • Terms of service, Privacy policy and Data-processing agreement: your own legal pages for your merchants. The data-processing agreement is needed before DripFunnel can approve you.
  • Impressum: only needed if your company is in Germany, where the law requires it.
  • Show “Powered by DripFunnel”: whether you can switch this line off depends on your contract. The switch tells you: Your contract lets you remove it, or that your contract keeps it on for the first year.

Preview before you publish

Preview · merchant portal shows your changes as merchants will see them. Switch between the Sign in page and the portal Header, between Desktop and Phone, and between Light and Dark. The preview uses a sample store; the console itself never changes its look.

Publish

  1. Press Publish…. If a field is wrong or the contrast check fails, it tells you what to fix first.
  2. The Publish your branding? box says how many stores it affects: “This changes the merchant portal and emails for … stores. Their shops don’t change.”
  3. Press Publish. Merchants see the new look the next time a page loads.

Changed your mind before publishing? Press Discard to go back to the published version. Every publish and upload is recorded in the activity log.

Questions

Does branding change my merchants’ shops?

No. Branding changes the merchant portal and the emails your merchants get. Each merchant designs and publishes their own shop.

Can I remove “Powered by DripFunnel”?

It depends on your contract. Some contracts allow it, some keep it on for the first year, and some keep it on. The switch in Branding › Words says which applies to you.

Why can’t I publish?

Usually because the contrast check fails or a field is highlighted. Pick colours that pass both checks, fix the highlighted fields, and press Publish again.

Do emails show my brand?

Emails to your merchants carry your product name, your colours and your support contact. Sending them from your own email address isn’t switched on yet (see Domains).
